Aqua One Blue coarse sponge filter pads are specifically designed to remove the larger particles from your aquarium water.

The blue coarse filter sponge is made of high grade open cell foam, so the water that passes through the sponge will be cleaned of most larger particles from the aquarium water.
The coarse blue filter sponge will serve as a biological and mechanical filter, essential to the health of your aquarium fish. 
Aqua one Coarse filter sponge are re-usable and last longer than your Aqua one fine wool pad, however your coarse filter sponge should be replaced as soon as it loses shape.
Failure to do so will lead to particles avoiding the filter process. These sponges will also fit the Aquis CF range of external filters. 2 per pack.
